This Menu Bar utility was designed to offer you a simple and quick way to access weather information on your desktop, without using your default browser. WeatherBug Lite is very simple to handle, provides you with accurate forecast details, and comes without a price tag.
All you need to do is to go to your status bar, click over the app's icon, and select the preferred location. The program will then offer you the detailed weather forecasts you need for the chosen city or area.
WeatherBug Lite also comes with an integrated search utility that helps you immediately find the location you need. Furthermore, you can mark the cities of your interest as Favorites and easily keep track of their correspondent weather forecasts.
My only concern regarding this application is that it doesn't provide you with 5-day weather forecasts. It gives you access to weather information for the next 12 hours and that's it.
Still, this program is one of the best free weather apps I used until this day. It's intuitive, offers you correct information, and doesn't slow down your computer while running on your Menu Bar. So, I think you should download and install it on your Mac if the aforementioned aspect doesn't mean much to you.
