WebLog Expert Lite is a very useful tool to analyze log files and to view log reports with all details. It can help you to know all statistics of your website like website uses, user activity, access statistics, visitor’s browser and other information in a detailed way. It’s very small in size and freely available. It supports log files of all common web servers. It also accepts compressed format log files like ZIP and GZ without uncompressing it which saves time and disk space.
Reports created by this software are in HTML format which can be seen with any browser. The generated report uses color coding for different aspects, and is easy to understand. All statistics are provided with a graph and each section of the graph is represented with different colors. On the left hand side of the report it also creates a content list so a viewer can easily navigate to the desired information. It also shows the information of date and time on which the report is created. Before starting to analyze a log file, user has to create a profile where he has to fill the log file path, information of domain, index file name and some other required information. User can create as many profiles as he wants and can also delete them anytime.
