The application opens with a straightforward and intuitive interface that any user can handle with ease. Since no hidden Preferences are provided, all settings can be enabled conveniently from the main window. The preview panel takes most of the interface. It displays in real time the changes made to the original photo, so you can see at any moment how the resulting picture will look like.
The program comes with five main photo enhancing modules. Therefore, the Adjustment section allows you to customize the chosen picture in terms of saturation, contrast, brightness, temperature, and tint simply by dragging the corresponding slide bars. The utility provides a special module for portrait corrections, a section that functions only if faces are detected within the selected picture. You have the ability to soften wrinkles, minimize freckles, and whiten the skin for perfect portrait results. The photos taken in inappropriate circumstances or with unprofessional cameras can also be adjusted with the help of smart de-noise tools. You can fix blurry areas, reduce image grain, and retouch the picture in terms of luminance and chrominance. In addition, the utility lets you apply artistic photo effects, like the fish-eye view, vignetting, or an old film appearance in order to impress your viewers.
No editing functions are disabled within the trial version, but it is advisable to purchase the program; otherwise, the edited photos will be saved with an annoying logo. Another thing you should take into consideration is that you can't save your settings as Favorites for further use. Thus, you'll need to start the settings configuration from scratch with each picture you import.
