WinShell 3.21 is an integrated development environment (IDE) for LaTeX and TeX.

WinShell features a text editor, syntax highlighting, project management, spell checking, a table wizard, BibTeX support, Unicode support, different toolbars and user configuration options.

This is NOT a LaTeX system; an additional LaTeX package is required.

LaTeX is a document markup language and document preparation system for the TeX typesetting program, most widely used by mathematicians, scientists, engineers, philosophers, scholars in academia and the commercial world, and other professionals.

LaTeX is used because of the high quality of typesetting achievable by TeX.

The program can be installed in twenty different languages.

Using the WinShell editor, you can create any LaTeX document, using the right syntax. WinShell provides demo files that will show you how to format your documents, including graphs and special symbols.

The results can be saved or exported to other formats, as .PDF for Acrobat Reader.
