WinSnap is a handy tool that lets you take screenshots of any area of your screen: the active window, a specific region, the whole screen (“full screen”), etc. Using hotkeys to quickly capture images is supported. These hotkeys can also be customized to your liking with a lot of ease.

WinSnap doesn’t only let you capture images from your screen, but also edit them afterwards. It lets you highlight regions and elements from the image, add various shapes (lines, rectangles, etc.), apply effects such as shadows and reflections, adjust the color parameters, or even watermark them. Advanced features like support for PNG transparency and alpha-channel are also available. Furthermore, WinSnap allows capturing multiple objects from the screen at once, just by selecting the “Object” capture mode and pressing the Control key.

As you can see, WinSnap is a powerful, feature-rich and comprehensive utility that comes packed with a lot of handy functions. This doesn’t mean it’s complicated or difficult to use. On the contrary, it’s neat, simple, and intuitive, and it allows even complete beginners to use it without any problem.

To sum it all up, WinSnap is a handy screen capture utility that offers remarkable advantages and no drawbacks. It’s definitely worth at least a try.
