WinX iPhone Ripper for Mac is a commercial DVD ripper. It supports the H.264 and MPEG-4 formats for video output and AAC and MP3 for audio. With this app, you can rip and convert your DVD movies into those formats, which are playable on the iPhone, iPod, iPad, and a variety of other multimedia playback devices. There are quite a few conversion profiles available in this app. There are eight for the iPhone, six for the iPad, and over fifteen for other iPods. You select the device you want to convert files for at the bottom of the screen. There are 5 tabs: iPhone, iPad, iPod, iTunes and Music.
This DVD ripper works well. I didn't have problems with my test conversion other than a problem with subtitle rendering, but that seems to be common to all WinX rippers, or at least the ones that I have tried.
WinX has another iPhone DVD ripper available for download, which is free and is 99% identical to this one. This is a common practice among some developers. So my advice is that you get the free one and see if it works for you. If not, there are free and open-source solutions that work really well.
