WinX iPhone4 Video Converter for Mac - Free Edition was designed to let you convert video files so that you could watch them on your iPhone 4. As you may know, not all the video files can be played on Apple devices. The formats that they support are limited to MPEG-4, H.264, MOV, and M4V. This converter lets you convert files to MPEG-4 and H.264, also known as MPEG-4 AVC.
This converter's graphical user interface is almost identical to that of WinX's Windows converters. The design isn't bad per se, but if you used to running Mac apps, you will find it unpleasant to look at.
Although this is a free converter, I can't recommend it because it crashed when I was testing it. Anytime I tried to start the conversion process, the app would just crash and I had to re-open it. I am running the latest version of Mac OS X Lion. Some WinX converters crash for me, and other don't.
This converter comes with 8 different conversion profiles, some for the iPhone 4, some for the iPhone 3Gs and some profiles for iPhones in general.
