WoLoSoft SuperEdi is a simple yet powerful text and source code editor mainly designed for HTML code. It is capable of highlighting special words and phrases, such as labels, variables, strings, comments, etc., using a customizable color scheme. Moreover, it allows you to work with two or more files simultaneously, and it includes FTP client functions too.

The program's classical and out-of-date design makes it visually unattractive. However, this drawback is generously compensated by the amount of features and functions it includes. It offers an embedded file system explorer that allows you to locate very quickly any file you want to edit without resorting to Windows Explorer. In addition, it is capable of recognizing the syntax of many common programming and scripting languages, like C, HTML, Java, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, Visual Basic Script, and others. However, it works particularly well with HTML code.

As soon as you click on a file on the embedded explorer, you are shown its contents – colored according to the color scheme provided – in the main panel. If you open two or more files, you can change from one file to another very easily, as each one opens on a separate tab. If you happen to be working on an HTML file, the program will recognize and list all the sections in that webpage, so that you can move from one to another by simply clicking on its name. This feature will certainly save you a lot of time when working on a large file.

One of the most powerful assets of this program is, for sure, the included FTP client. It allows you to access your hosting server via FTP, download and edit any of your webpages, make any necessary changes and upload it back to replace the original file, so that your changes are immediately visible.
