Word Cross is an exciting puzzle game that can be played by users of all ages and offers you dozens of challenging missions. Your objective is to place words within the board and guess the secret phrase from the bottom side of the screen before you run out of time.
The app lets you create multiple player profiles, play in fullscreen or windowed mode, and disable sound effects if necessary. What's more, it will save the gameplay progress for any of the create player profiles.
You can choose between two game modes: Timed (you need to guess the secret phrase before you run out of time) and Timeless (there's no time limit). The first game mode might seem a bit difficult to beginners as you have a small amount of time available for guessing the hidden phrase.
All you need to do is drag-and-drop the words from the right side of the screen to the board. If one word doesn't match the selected board segment, the app will notify you to undo your move.
Personally, I enjoy playing this type of games, on both paper and Mac. Hence, I definitely recommend this app to users who want to spend their spare time in a fun yet challenging way.
