X Graphics 1.0 is a simulation add-on for users of Microsoft’s Flight Simulator X, that provides them with scenic environmental enhancements and with realistic and different perspectives from the simulated aerial views during their virtual flights.

The program features ultra-realistic clouds that have been created using SkyScape technology, and it also includes sky color environments, effects such as sound, day and night, and special effects like wave turbulence/frequency events. Weather sets enhance ground level scenes and railroads. The program features photo-real asphalt and concrete runway textures, with new runway mapping and a varied assortment of taxiways and markings. The 3D cloud custom feature allows users to create their own cloud types from thousands of combinations from Status, to Wispy and Solid Cumulus and these are rendered realistically with the SkyScape technology that the program uses.

All textures included have multiple choices and the day, dusk and dawn skies feature smooth transitions and visibility. Moon and lightning, sun and lens flare variation all add to the virtual pilot’s flying experience. Reflections and shades, with variations for waves etc., are included and there is a watercolor variations function for inland, ocean and tropical scenes too. Extensive airport enhancements include user selectable variations.
