Emulates an Android environment on the user's computer running apps and games designed for smartphones and tablets on the Windows operating system. Supports video recording and is compatible with approximately 99% of the apps and games from the Google Play Store.
XePlayer is an Android emulator designed for Windows PCs. With its help, you can test the Android apps you designed directly from your computer. You can also use the program to play Android games from your PC, looking at a larger screen.
Its interface is very intuitive and you have access to a multitude of useful features. For example, you can use the integrated video recorder to capture game walkthroughs or to show how to use one of your Android applications.
While installing the utility on your PC, it will offer you to install an additional tool (an antivirus) which isn't necessary for working with XePlayer. Make sure you decline the offer if you don't need the aforementioned tool on your PC.
In my testing, the program took a while to launch and occasionally ran slow, especially when trying to open Android apps. Still, this doesn't mean that it's XePlayer's fault. My computer might also be responsible for the occasional poor-performance of the tool.
Hence, I'd say you should give it a shot, see how it works on your computer, and then decide if it's worth keeping XePlayer or look for alternatives. You have nothing to lose as the program comes without a price.
