XMenu is a handy Mac application that provides you with an easy way to access all of your favorite programs, documents, media and any other kind of files that you might have stored on your system. This way, you won't have to add any additional Dock item or open multiple windows in order to access your files and applications.
After launching, XMenu will place an icon on your Menu Bar from where you can easily and instantly access all of your installed applications with just a click of a mouse. But that's not all that this tool can do. By accessing the "Preferences" menu, you can easily add multiple menus to your Menu Bar, like your Home, Documents or Developer folders you can even place user-defined menus for a faster access.
Other than that, XMenu allows you to modify the appearance of the icons that will be placed on your Menu Bar and select the sorting method (by names, folder after files or folders before files) in a very simple manner.
To sum it all up, XMenu is a lightweight Mac tool that is worth trying if you are in need of a fast and simple way to access all of your files and applications directly from your Menu Bar.
