ZAR X is a powerful data recovery solution that can retrieve lost data from disks and drives of various formatting types, including FAT, NTFS, Linux ext/2/3/4, and XFS file systems. It lets you recover data from various types of storage devices, including common hard disks, RAIDs, disk image files, external drives, USB thumb drives, memory cards, and so on.
ZAR X can recover data regardless of the reason the data got lost: accidental deletion, drive formatting, system crashes, virus attacks, and so on. It includes a separate digital camera image recovery function that helps you quickly retrieve photos for free, and it offers plenty of other additional options that help you customize the recovery process and increase its efficiency.
Unfortunately, since many of the advanced settings and functions are meant for experienced users and the interface is rather dull and plain, I'd say this tool is not exactly suitable for beginners. There are other data recovery tools that come with a more intuitive interface and seem more friendly towards inexperienced users.
