Zip & Resize Photos for WinZip is a program as well as an add-on for WinZip that specializes in compressing digital images. It also works as a photo editor wherewith users can resize, adjust levels, remove red-eye effects, add a text or a watermark and perform other image editing tasks.
Basically Winsoftmagic’s Zip & Resize Photos is the same program as Winsoftmagic’s Photo Editor except for the fact that it integrates JPEG zip compression. This special image engine allows you to take a batch of images and compress them. Images are reduced in size more than what users would normally get when using any other file compression utility.
The program can also be used to crop pictures, and it has an ability to create and save 'profiles'. Profiles are used for saving the settings used to process one or multiple photos just in several clicks without the need to make the same adjustments over and over again. Likewise, the program has special functions so that pictures can be adjusted to the Web: users can make thumbnails, shrink, as well as optimize the image’s colors to adjust correctly for better display on the Web.
